Dr. Robert Ramirez is the Faculty Chair and Professor at DeVry University Encino Campus and 29 Palms Center. Most recently Ramirez was the Center Dean of DeVry University Alhambra Center and the Sherman Oaks Program Dean for the CoBM. Ramirez joined DeVry University in 2009. Prior to joining DeVry University he was the Founder and President of Quantum Technology Solutions. He was a technology resource professional, who created solutions for large or small companies.

Mr. Ramirez has over three decades of experience in Education, Management and Technology. Prior to running his own company he was the Director of Information Technology for The Mobile Storage Group, Excel Direct, Teleflora Inc., IDC Entertainment Services, Merle Norman Cosmetics, and Smart and Final.

Mr. Ramirez completed his DBA in International Business at Northcentral University. He earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix in 1997, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from California State University, Los Angeles, in 1982. He has been an Award Winning Instructor for the Computer Learning Center and ITT. He has published articles in Enterprise Management and has been a speaker for the AFCOM Convention on Planning a Corporate Internet. He also enjoyed coaching youth sports where he received a Gold Medal Award for Community Service. He is currently active with the SCV Chamber of Commerce and the VICA education Board. He enjoys hiking, biking and any activity with his wife and kids.
