Hormoz Mogarei has been in management since 1990, with 20 years of those, directly in “Lean” environment with Toyota and Toyota subsidiaries, both in the U.S. and in Japan. His claim to fame is to have achieved Zero-defects for 13-consecutive months, while at Toyota, producing a vehicle every 53-seconds with over 250,000 parts per day.


He is an international lecturer in countries such as Armenia, Brazil, China, Canada, Germany, and Japan, to name a few working with clients such as: United Nation, Boeing in Oregon, Applied Materials in Texas, Union Bank of California, Intel, Apple, SiTune, Stanford Hospitals & Clinics, Zazzle, UCSF, PlasmaTreat, Ascenx, and Altera. In addition to being the President/CEO of Get Kaizened, Inc., a Lean Consulting firm, Mr. Mogarei is the President of Brooks College, a Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley, DeVry & Keller universities, and the Silicon Valley Business Institute. His first book, An-Apple-A-Day was taught at UC Berkeley. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Organization Leadership, as well.

Moral Capitalism Spotlight - "A Collaborative Report"

In his essay, Professor Mogharei discusses the concept of Moral Capitalism, which focuses on businesses and individuals acting ethically and responsibly. He argues that profits should not be the main purpose of being in business, but rather service should be the main focus, with profits being a byproduct. He also introduces key concepts and terminologies such as equality, equity, justice, value, and corporate social responsibility.
